ZentanglesWhat are zentangles? The word "zen" is an attiude, its a way of life really. It means being "at peace", with yourself, with others and with the world around you. This is tough! Zentangles are deliberate marks or patterns that help your brain get into a relaxed state. We are making "marks" in our lives with each action and reaction to the people and situations we encounter. In the same way, each zentangle mark is tied to the greater design. This week we will use the theme RESPECT to create a zentangle design. What does Respect mean you you? Love? Compassion? Peace? Hmmmm.... But first, we need to learn how to create such designs! Go to Day 1 and follow the instructions to get started. |
